News?

Hey, sorry to the six people that check this thing once in a while, I have been somewhat predisposed with numerous extracurricular activities of late, none of which ill bore you with. But, just to update. For anyone living in NZ that wants to support their own country instead of shopping at one of our many fine BMX retail outlets, VEX distro will be distributing some of our stuff over the Tasman, so if your chasing something or are interested to see some Nightfall shit in real life, hit up VEX @ http://www.facebook.com/vexdistro?ref=ts, or hassle your local shop to try get some stuff in.

And in other news, after about a year of f-in around, testing, refining etc etc, our new 'Terror' frames are in the mail, so expect them around mid-July. There has been an exceptional ammount of work and time gone into these babies (look we even got them in pretty boxes to), so hopefully someone is as stoked on them as we are! Lastly, a K-bar revival is imminant, so if anyone wants to help dig/cart water/stand around talking shit and drinking beer, then holla on the book, any help is always appreciated. CAFF

This Friday is Cairns Adventure Film Festival, if your in Cairns, then be there! If you have ever been to one of these, then you would know it is great night, that showcases a great deal of the lunacy that goes down on a day-day basis in and around the Cairns region. Landon Stroud does a fantastic job of these, and you gotta take your hat off to the man for organising events such as these. There will be numerous films showing from not just Cairns, but nationally as well, and every year the quality of entrants just keeps getting better. Also this year Landon has recruited the help of all round bad-ass Tim Weekes to bring something special to the table, with the addition of a half pipe in the pub, which will have BMX and Skate demos going down, buy a few local Cairns shredders. Friday the 25th, at the Union Jack Hotel. Be there!

Gettin stuff

Hey sorry about the lack of news of late, but I have been busy with numerous things, and have been hoarding content for other projects. Namely our online store, catalouge and website. I have finally made the move from the dark ages, into the technological realm. Facebook and the blog took three years, our online store has taken about six, and hopefully......maybe....we should have a catalouge done in the next couple of months, and a complete website by....whos knows, but kind of soon. Been working really hard on getting a decent ammount of stock sorted to, so that way, if someone asks for something, we dont have to come up with a half arsed excuse. In other news, local shredder Davo is rolling a NF these days (stoked on that), and made the trek over to NZ for the farm jam. Apparently it was a bit wet, but he had a good crack at the gorge rd trails in Queenstown. When we get our shit abit more organised you will probably be seeing abit more of him. Soco is also back in the world of technology, so if your bored of the average FB status, go suss him out, and he will set you straight. Mulesy has somehow pinched a nerve in his ribs, so hes trying to avoid getting shingles (or so his doctor reckons anyway)....he'll bb good in no time. Steve's back on his bike, when he isnt pushing Jhet around the Redlynch skatepark (gotta love kids). Charlie has a bung ankle, and didnt make some finals in some comp somewhere in Brissie....oh dear :), get well soon. Big Dyl is sick of fishing, and has been blasting the shit out of Caloundra on a regular basis and Lee has been riding a heap and generally keeping the kids of Beeno in check. Ill try update a bit less sporadically in the future. Thats news!

Mulesy

Amazing what you can find googling shit, dunno how i missed this, or maybe its already been put it up and I just cant remember. Three years ago Mulesy was riding this good. Bottom line: Mulesy can pretty do much anything he wants on a bike.

Goddamn DK have gone and made themselves a sprocket that closely resmbles our very own Killumati version........except that ours is way better (for obvious reasons). Im pretty devoed, but ill get over it. I expect to see a few of these rolling around on the streets, mostly due to the fact that they will actually have theirs in shops id imagine haha. We are still working on that minor detail.

Last night was at gravitate was good. Top honours went to Davo, Chris James, and Ned Lee (all the way from Towsville). Next year will be bigger and better for sure, as they should ahve the jumps sorted properly by then. Heres a sneak peak i got emailed of the top load samples that are on the way. Sorry, im a bit behind the times on this one, but Gravitate mountain bike festival is on this week. Mountain bikes you say, have you gone comepletly mad? Most definately! Cairns is a small place and we take what we can get. Tonight is the Bowl Jam at the Smithfield downhill, which is pretty much a hardtail/BMX dirt comp, and they also have a pump track. So if you got nothing on then head on out for a look and support local "extreme sports" haha. And if your a hungry kid, then bring you bike and have a roll. Should be a good night!

Frontload stems are still in high abundance.
Topload stem samples should be done in a couple of weeks, and they are gonna be gods gift to a BMX bike (assuming real-life testing all goes well).
New (as yet top secretly named) frames should be here next month to. 20.8 and 21.25, simpler smoother design, removable bits and pieces, probaly a bit lighter, shorter backend, smaller dropouts, laser cut gusset design, and exclusive seat clamp design (and by exclusive i mean if it doesnt go down well, then there will only ever be 4 in the whole world) When they get in , we will be doing some testing and ill post some photos.

Oh, almost forgot, Soco has made his triumphant return to ye olde Cairns vegas and has been digging. And its about time haha
